2. If it is a new premises or installation, is there something I will need to do? |
2. You will need to either get a safety certificate done or a certificate of completion from your gas installer |
3. Can the cylinders be put on the dirt? |
3. No, the cylinders must be on concrete and at least 50mm above the surface |
4. Do you deliver automatically? |
4. No, we are a cylinder exchange company unless you have arranged anything with us, as you empty one cylinder you will ring us and we will deliver a cylinder to you the next day. |
5. Do you do installations? |
5. Yes, we have a licensed gas fitter that can help you with anything and everything to do with gas. |
6. Do you do caravan certificates? |
6. Yes. If you contact our gas fitter, he will be able to do a test for you |
7. Do you do industrial gases (oxy acet etc)? |
7. No, not at this stage but coming |
8. Can you fill bbq and small LPG cylinders? |
8. Yes, and when you place your gas cylinder order be sure to tell us that you have a smaller gas need, and we will fill it as well. |
9. What do I do if I can smell gas? |
9. If you have had your cylinder for a long time, you may get a small smell when it is running out. LPG is usually odorless and the odor is actually added and generally settles to the bottom of the cylinder and becomes more predominant when the cylinder is nearly empty. But, if you are concerned, please call us and our gas fitter will check for any leaks etc. |
10. Do you do bbq cylinder checking? |
10. No, as these days it is just as cheap to buy a new one ay the local hardware store unless the cylinder is galvanised for boat use, in this case then it is worth doing. |
